Down day

So the usual happy go lucky smiley
Tabby is feeling blue.

"BORING"

I hear you shout, I know, I know, I just can't help it.

The majority of the time I do my best to slap on my "Barmaid" smile, shoulders back, chest out and give it some. But every now and again I have trouble finding the energy to even pretend to be happy.

Of course the children come home from school and I'm "Happy" mummy, "Homework" mummy and that I do for them. But inside, especially today I'm dying.

It's not unusual this time of year I imagine, Christmas is knocking on the door and everyone is stressed out, busy as heck and wondering where they're going to pluck the money from this year to buy sufficient gifts for everyone.

One of my beloved kitties came home with a poorly tail, bless him. He didn't complain but you could see something wasn't right. At the risk of provoking a 'double meaning' it was a bit limp.

So, when hubby came home early from work I seized the opportunity to get the little tyke to the vets and find out what was what. If hubby doesn't take him it's a two bus ride journey for me as I'm not driving yet.

Well, you'd have thought I'd have asked him to moon the vet! He made it seem as if he was doing me a favour!

I was so upset and hurt by his attitude, that's when the day started to go down hill.

He ended up taking the cat, the vets have said he's got a bruised tail and with the injection he received and rest it should be fine. Mind you we had to pay nearly £40 to find that out!

Hubby has apologised since and as usual I've forgiven him, he said he was snappy because he was worried about what the vet might say. Operations can run into the hundreds and above with pets these days. So I got the brunt of his worried mood, hey what else am I here for!

So with that and the poor old girl being poorly, yep I managed to pick up a nice cold on my trip up north over the weekend, things are a bit low.

I'm going to do my best to do as little as possible today and overdose on the Internet!
